Boston surrendered all of the runs Seattle needed in the 6th inning when they blasted Boston for 7 runs on 5 hits. The highlight belonged to Comer who silenced Fenway Park as he quieted the crowd by clouting a Grand Slam. Seattle rapped out 8 hits for the afternoon. Diego Segui(4-1) allowed 3 runs in 7 innings, and picked up the victory. Lee Stange(4-1) suffered the loss. Seattle knocked him around a bit, as he gave up 6 runs in 5 and 2/3 innings. Seattle continued their winning ways, with their streak now at 9 games and counting. Dick Williams was upset but philosophical about the loss. 'Sometimes you run into a team that's on a roll.
