Robinson propelled Baltimore to victory. He cleared the fences for a two-run home run in the 1st inning, banged out a single in the 3rd inning, lined a one-base hit in the 4th inning, blasted a solo shot in the 6th inning and singled in the 7th inning. Baltimore banged out 17 hits on the afternoon. Leonhard(4-2) finished the game allowing 2 runs in the victory. The losing pitcher was Andy Messersmith(4-6). He allowed a few too many baserunners giving up 10 hits and 5 walks in 3 and 2/3 innings. 'Some days it just all comes together, and this was one of them' Robinson said. 'I've been seeing the ball pretty well lately.'
