Baltimore jumped on top of Toronto in the top of the 3rd inning plating an isolated run using 2 hits. Toronto had a chance in the 9th but they came up short. Sammy Stewart(2-0) got the win allowing 1 run in 8 innings. Don Aase recorded his 1st save. Jimmy Key(2-1) took the loss. Bobby Cox was subdued after the ballgame, 'That one really hurts. If our guys had simply played more fundamentally sound, we could have won that one. That is what really ticks me off!'
