Lynn enjoyed a fine evening at the plate. He doubled in the 3rd inning, lashed a single scoring a run in the 6th inning and cleared the fences for a two-run home run in the 8th inning. Even though they scored in 5 different innings, Seattle was not able to pull off the win. Mike Boddicker(7-1) got credit for the victory, pitching 8 innings and allowing 5 runs.
