Chicago (AL) won the game with a rally in the top of the 9th inning plating 2 runs using 3 hits. After an out was recorded, Yoan Moncada kicked off the action when he stroked a one-base hit. Jose Abreu next to the plate and he lashed a single. Avisail Garcia then laced a base-hit driving in a run. Matt Davidson was a strikeout victim, unable to help out. Yolmer Sanchez came up to bat and drew a walk to load the bases. Tim Anderson extended the rally and reached on an error scoring the final run of the inning.
